One-on-one lessons at the farm or in your home, from foundation to competition-level control.
Program · Private TrainingSix one-hour private lessons over six weeks at our facility, an advanced off-leash package after that, and in-home training for families who need us to come to them. You learn to communicate, the dog learns to listen, and it holds when Aunt Sue shows up.
On-leash control for everyday manners: sit, down, stay, place, off, loose-leash walking and leave it. Six one-hour lessons at the farm, each one building on the last.
Off-leash control for the pet dog: recall under distraction, heel, polite guest manners and better behavior at home. Includes an E-Collar Technologies remote collar. Requires Basic Obedience or a Structured Start board and train first.
You train with your dog, and the lessons only hold if you practice at home. Plan on 30 to 45 minutes a day. Single lessons are available after either package when you want more.
The same six-week program in your house, so everyone who handles the dog learns the same rules. Priced above the farm program to cover travel time and scheduling.
Clients enrolled in a program can join us Saturdays, 10:30 to 11:00 in the morning, at Riverwalk in Rock Hill or at the farm: advanced obedience, handling skills and social training in real-world settings.
We teach you the communication, not just the commands. Positive markers make learning fun; a clear no-reward marker tells the dog a mistake was made. Fair both ways.
We assess your dog and your goals and place you in the right package. You get useful homework the first day.
One hour a week with a trainer, 30 to 45 minutes of practice at home every day in between. Each week adds distraction and distance.
By week six the behavior holds in the yard, on the trail and in town. Then the advanced package and the Saturday group open up.
Yes. Seeley Creek Canine brings the private training program to homes across Chester County, Rock Hill, Fort Mill, Lancaster, York and the south side of Charlotte. In-home training is a six-week program priced above the farm lessons to cover travel time and scheduling.
Yes. Seeley Creek Canine is an all-breeds, all-sizes training facility. Most of our work is problem behavior and control, and small dogs need that just as often as large ones.
Usually one issue is tied to others, so Seeley Creek Canine tailors a plan around your goal rather than selling a single fix. Shaping control in a few areas at once gives the dog balance that a one-behavior patch never does.
